NCDOT Pavement Preservation Project
While at Summit Design and Engineering Services, Britt led the NCDOT Pavement Preservation project as the Transportation Maintenance Manager. He was responsible for overseeing the quality of the pavement preservation program, which included providing internal and external training for inspection staff and contractors to ensure strict adherence to specifications. Britt also conducted site visits for quality assurance throughout the project’s construction phase.
Britt and the preservation team managed quality control processes, ensuring that all work met the high standards set by the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT). His proactive approach in monitoring and guiding preservation techniques ensured the long-term durability of both the roadways and the overall preservation program.
